Job Description
As the Crypto business is growing at IMC we need to ensure that our post-trade processes are as scalable and efficient as possible. Hence we are looking for a Business Analyst to play an important role assist on the day-to-day Crypto Mid Office operations as well as gather business requirements from various stakeholders to improve processes.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Providing operational support on the day-to-day Crypto Mid Office tasks: these include
- Identifying investigating and resolving trade position and cash breaks by working closely with Back Mid and Front Office teams
- Daily PnL substantiation and reconciliation
- Loan management
- Working with finance on month end cash flow reconciliation and accounting bookings
- Data gathering from various stakeholders (Trading Finance Risk Tech) to identify issues and overall improve Mid Office processes
- Collaborating with developers to continuously improve our software and automations
- Prototype solutions by leveraging tools such as Python SQL and Qlikview (or other tooling) to create process improvements
Your Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in process improvements and designing automated solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in building dashboards using BI tooling
- At least intermediate proficiency in SQL and Python
- Owner mentality: take ownership of tasks and projects. A drive to understand the business beyond own role to add value to the overall business
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and with various stakeholders (Finance Risk Trading Tech)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proactive assertive hands-on flexible personality
Location and Office Culture
- IMC office in Zug Switzerland
- Note that this is an onsite role with some but limited flexibility for working from home
