Where you ll be working
You will be based in Tasmania s second largest hospital, serving the North of the state and a population of approximately 250,000. The hospital has excellent teaching and research credentials with ties to the University of Tasmania Medical School and research supported by the Clifford Craig Foundation. All services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.

You will provide specialist care in Rheumatology including outpatient consultation to public patients and provide specialist advice to inpatient units as required. You will have the opportunity to be involved in research and quality improvement activities, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Supervision and support will be provided from the Rheumatology Unit at the state's tertiary centre.

The city has great transport links with the rest of Australia, with regular flights to all major state capitals, serviced by all three major airlines. Melbourne is only a 50-minute flight away.

Package from $400k plus relocation support

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), or equivalent
