The Remote Account Manager is responsible for communicating with veterinary customers to initiate and sustain sales relationships and promote position and sell the companion animal line of products and services to meet and exceed customers needs. The Remote Account Manager is also responsible for achieving the annual sales and business objectives within the established business plan for the territory. To optimize the impact of our interactions the Remote Account Manager must also develop an effective working relationship with all account managers in their region (which is Ontario with the exception of the Ottawa area).
The Remote Account Manager is responsible for understanding the customer needs and communicating accurate and complete product information and support through targeted communications and call activities towards the goal of increasing sales and market penetration. Strategic and innovative methods of communication and relationship building is encouraged to further strengthen clinic partnerships. Communications should be aligned to the Other Centered Selling model and have the next best event determined and followed up with the customer in a timely manner. The activities of the Remote Account Manager also include conducting webinars attending product and sales training and participating in conferences and conventions. Remote Account Managers may also be called upon to engage with Key Account contacts during various marketing initiatives.
The Remote Account Manager optimizes business potential in the territory through effective collaboration analysis planning implementation and organization of work. Other duties include managing territory data through CRM and all other relevant territory management tools. There are additional administrative duties which include but are not limited to: territory planning account planning and call planning performance monitoring recording daily calls with accounts expense management and shipment requests from clients. Performance is measured on success within territory as well as targeted promotions and other performance standards consistent with operating objectives.
The Remote Account Manager will complete tasks in a manner fully consistent with our Companys commitment to our Values and Standards policies procedures industry standards and all laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree Science degree is preferred Veterinary Technician Diploma is acceptable
Pharmaceutical sales or Animal Health Industry experience preferred
Experience in Small Animal Veterinary Practice as Animal Health technician or Veterinarian is an asset
Thorough understanding of the Animal Health Industry and Veterinary Practice operation is an asset
Proficient in office technology and related software
Exhibits strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Comfortable with new technologies
Strong negotiation skills
French both written and spoken if located in Quebec. English is required if located in Canadian provinces outside of Quebec.

Le Responsable de Comptes Distance doit comprendre les besoins des clients et communiquer des informations prcises et compltes sur les produits ainsi que le support ncessaire via des communications cibles et des activits dappels dans le but daugmenter les ventes et la pntration du march. Des mthodes stratgiques et innovantes de communication et de dveloppement des relations sont encourages afin de renforcer davantage les partenariats avec les cliniques. Les communications doivent tre alignes sur le modle vente centre sur lautre et lvnement suivant le plus pertinent doit tre dtermin et suivi auprs du client en temps opportun. Les activits du Responsable de Comptes Distance incluent galement la conduite de webinaires la participation des formations produits et ventes ainsi que la prsence des confrences et congrs. Le Responsable de Comptes Distance peut aussi tre amen collaborer avec les contacts des comptes cls lors de diverses initiatives marketing.
Le Responsable de Comptes Distance optimise le potentiel commercial du territoire grce une collaboration efficace une analyse une planification une mise en uvre et une organisation du travail rigoureuses. Parmi ses autres responsabilits figurent la gestion des donnes du territoire via le gestion de la relation client (CRM) et tous les autres outils pertinents de gestion territoriale. Des tches administratives supplmentaires incluent sans sy limiter : la planification du territoire la planification des comptes et des appels le suivi des performances lenregistrement quotidien des appels auprs des comptes la gestion des dpenses et les demandes dexpdition des clients. La performance est mesure en fonction du succs sur le territoire ainsi que des promotions cibles et dautres critres de performance conformes aux objectifs oprationnels.
Le Responsable de Comptes Distance accomplira ses tches en totale conformit avec lengagement de notre entreprise envers nos Valeurs et Normes politiques procdures normes industrielles ainsi que toutes les lois et rglementations en vigueur.
Qualifications :
Diplme universitaire de prfrence en sciences; un diplme de technicien vtrinaire est acceptable
Exprience en vente pharmaceutique ou dans lindustrie de la sant animale de prfrence
Exprience en pratique vtrinaire pour petits animaux en tant que technicien en sant animale ou vtrinaire est un atout
Bonne comprhension de lindustrie de la sant animale et du fonctionnement des pratiques vtrinaires est un atout
Matrise des technologies de bureau et des logiciels associs
Excellentes comptences en communication (crite et orale)
laise avec les nouvelles technologies
Solides comptences en ngociation
Franais tant lcrit qu loral si situ au Qubec. Langlais est requis si situ en Provinces canadiennes hors Qubec.
