Job Description
What Youll Do
As a VAT Analyst youll be responsible for managing and supporting VAT processes across the UK and EMEA region working closely with internal finance teams external advisors and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely submission of VAT returns in collaboration with external consultants and internal finance teams
- Review and test VAT filings for the UK and EMEA identify discrepancies and implement corrections
- Maintain VAT registration data and ensure accuracy across systems
- Manage VAT codes in platforms such as Workday and Yardi test changes and communicate updates to business units
- Approve VAT refunds and payments ensuring correct entity allocation
- Assist with VAT audits and tax authority inquiries
- Perform VAT reconciliations and summary reports
- Collaborate with finance technology and transformation teams to enhance VAT processes
What Were Looking For
- 35 years of relevant experience in VAT or indirect tax
- Fluent English communication skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas pivot tables)
- UK VAT experience is a strong plus but not mandatory
- University degree required; finance/accounting background preferred
- Experience with OneSource Workday or Yardi is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset attention to detail and proactive approach
