Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: San Francisco CA (100% On-site)
Compensation: $150000 - $250000 (Base Salary) Equity
We are building the future of hiring with our revolutionary AI Recruiter that conducts job interviews in real-time over video calls. Our platform acts as a marketplace serving candidates with a world-class interview experience and employers with powerful data aggregation and analysis tools. We are looking for a hands-on Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build both consumer-facing and enterprise-grade software with a clear opportunity for growth and ownership.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer you will be a founding member of our small passionate team solving challenging technical problems at the intersection of consumer software enterprise platforms and conversational AI.
In this role you will work on:
- Consumer Experience: Drastically decrease interviewer response latency (e.g. target under 200ms) and scale our infrastructure to support thousands of simultaneous interviews while ensuring compliance across different geographies.
- AI & Data Infrastructure: Design and implement data solutions including Vector Databases to handle complex queries for matching candidates with specific traits.
- Enterprise Integration: Integrate our platform with major customer internal hiring systems and build beautiful apps for recruiters to view and analyze interview data visually and quickly.
- Scalability & DevOps: Scale our system architecture and leverage our cloud/DevOps stack (Azure Kubernetes Docker) for high availability and performance.
- Full Stack Feature Delivery: Own the end-to-end development of many many features across the platform from the Python backend to the TypeScript/React frontend.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of full stack engineering experience (senior level).
- Frontend: Proficiency with React (TypeScript).
- Backend: Strong knowledge of Python and experience with modern backend technologies including asynchronous programming (asyncio) and SQL (Postgres).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud services and DevOps tooling (Azure Kubernetes Docker).
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to love to code experiment and iterate quickly with a hungry builder mentality.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product design and co-founders in an on-site environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on a two-sided marketplace or platform serving both consumer and enterprise customers.
- Experience with Vector Databases or building conversational AI/LLM-powered products.
- A love for that build fast break things and learn mentality (hackathon experience is a huge plus).
