Reports To: Shipping Manager
Position Overview:
DRC Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Carrollton distribution warehouse. This role will support the Shipping Manager by booking outbound deliveries managing inventory accuracy and assisting with receiving transfers from our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Book outbound deliveries including full truckloads (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) freight.
Provide coverage for other shipping team members during absences or vacation.
Perform cycle counts on all warehouse inventory items to ensure accuracy.
Receive and process transferred items from our production facility.
Support overall warehouse operations and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
Work Schedule:
Monday Friday
Day shift 40 hours per week
Approximately 60% shipping duties 40% inventory and receiving tasks
Qualifications:
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Prior experience in shipping and logistics preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems and cycle counting highly desirable.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $18 $20/hour (based on experience)
Pay review and raise after 90 days
Full suite of medical and supplemental benefits available after 60 days
