Experience in Food & Beverage department and/or industry in a Chinese Restaurant
Previous Food & Beverage and/or industry experience
Experience with credit card settlement and cashiering duties
Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations

A Restaurant Captain assists the Supervisor with activities coordination of the guest services team to deliver an excellent experience while supporting the team and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
What will I be doing
A Conrad Singapore Marina Bay Golden Peony Senior Captain would be required to exercise his/her skills to ensure that all guests receive the highest possible standards of service and the proper functioning if the outlet. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Supervise a team of Waiter(Waitress)/Junior Captains/ Captain to provide a consistent and efficient delivery of excellent service to all guests
Assist in training of new employees in accordance to brand standards
Encourages team work and spirit in all areas of the department
To provide direction and support to the team on a daily basis
Able to work in all areas of the respective outlet / restaurant of Food and Beverage
Take and deliver customer orders consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
To check assigned stations supervise and assist the team with table/ room set up
Ensure proper cashiering procedures are being performed
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
Make recommendations on menu items and up-sell with latest departmental incentives
To be able to perform and manage both service and counter bar
To keep breakages at an absolute minimum
Fully understand the operation of the section correct procedures and duties of subordinates
Ensure compliance of brand standards
Strive to achieve departmental targets
Ensure cleanliness of work areas
Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
Comply with local licensing laws
Be environmentally aware
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Carry out any other duties as and when required by the superiors
Able to manage restaurants equipments inventory
Able to engage guests in professional manner
Able to complete closing shifts duties independently
Able to maintain high level of hygiene standard
