Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Developerto join ourData Management & Governanceteam with a specialized focus onData Privacy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withJavaSpring Boot and modernCI/CDpractices along with a strong understanding ofprivacy-by-design principlesdata protection techniques andregulatory compliance. You will play a key role in designing developing and deploying secure scalable enterprise applications that support privacy and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Data Governance Legal and Security teams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations
Design & develop robust Data Privacy backend systems using Java & Spring Boot
Build & maintain microservices & RESTful APIs
Integrate and configureOneTrustmodules for consent management data mapping and assessments
Write & maintain unit & integration tests using JUnit &Mockito
Implement messaging solutions using Kafka for real-time data processing
Participate in code reviews & ensure adherence to coding standards
Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated deployments
Conduct code reviews with a focus onsecurityprivacy andcompliance
Optimize application performance & troubleshoot production issues
Must-Have Skills:
Java/Python Spring Boot SQL
Microservices Architecture
RESTful APIs
Eclipse IDE
JUnit Mockito
Kafka (Messaging Systems)
GitLab (CI/CD)
Good-to-Have Skills:
Data Privacy - Applications/Platforms/Tools.
MySQL Oracle
Snowflake (Cloud Data Platform)
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelors degree in computer science engg or related field
Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
Excellent communication & teamwork abilities
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is a plus
Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus
