The global Directs Procurement team at Beiersdorf Group is an international team of Global Category Managers and Global & Regional Procurement Operations Managers covering the Categories Raw & Packaging Materials and 3rd Party Procurement. We work in different locations in global and regional responsibility for Procurement governance steering and execution.
YOUR ROLE
- Definition and deployment of regional category strategies in close alignment with global strategic framework
- Act as reliable expert to share Regional Procurement and Category know-how within international Procurement team and relevant stakeholders
- Responsible fortendering negotiation and contract handling of regional projects against the overall target to maximize the Procurement value contribution (e.g. cost development supply security improved service level agility sustainability & innovation)
- Responsible for compliance with Procurement standards methods and processes stakeholder management and sustainable interface towards demand owner and Procurement community
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify new suppliers
- Perform supplier evaluation to develop and improve supplier portfolio and focus on supplier relationship management
YOUR PROFILE
- Academic education degree and several years of professional experience in Procurement preferably Packaging or Raw Materials Procurement
- Experience in cross-functional projects and international supplier relations
- Strong communication skills across all hierarchies for effective and efficient functional project steering in a matrix organization
- Very good knowledge of MS Office SAP e-tendering S2C-/ P2P-processes
- Fluent English mandatory additional language skills welcome
- Self-confident appearance proactive working method and pragmatic cost-conscious creative result-driven mindset
