Job Description

Job Posting: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Pediatric Oncology

Location:The Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore MD
Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

Schedule:

  • Days 10- and 12-hour shifts.
  • Weekend coverage required as often as every third weekend (typically one weekend per month or less).
  • On-call responsibility approximately once a month or less.

Position Overview:
Join the renowned Pediatric Oncology team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular this role you will provide exceptional compassionate care to pediatric oncology patients in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Your contributions will help advance the cutting-edge treatments and patient-centered care that define Johns Hopkins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality comprehensive care to pediatric oncology patients.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions identify changes and take appropriate interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans procedures and long-term care needs.
  • Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Acute Care training and certification required.
  • Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
