Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands

As Product Manager you have a passion to drive our industry and by that introduce new and transform the existing offerings of Vingcard. You secure that Vingcard has the most attractive offerings with respect to complete digital solutions including scalability delivery services support cost and price.

You are ultimately responsible for your products and solutions and its commercial success over the full life-cycle and for the priority of your product roadmap defining todays and tomorrows products and solutions.

Together with Development teams and the rest of Vingcard you will deliver a successful offering to the market. You will ensure that the product services and solutions are fit-to market technologically forward-looking and delivered on time with the right quality.

You are an important part of the companys work with product services solutions and process development to increase efficiency through continuous innovation and improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business development making sure finding and take new products services and solutions from customer need to customer success.
  • Support Sales and Marketing in different customer meetings representing product management including addressing customer concerns in reference to products services rendered or employee interactions.
  • Participate in regular meetings with all departments to ensure open communication and expectations.

Leadership and result:

  • Product services and solution targets and result
  • Driving product services and solution decisions through the product board and other critical decision forums
  • Leading the organization around the product services and solutions towards success

Strategy planning and management:

  • Securing a complete and consolidated external view across key perspectives e.g. market customer competitor and technology (current and future)
  • Setting the long-term focus vision and plan for the product services and solutions through the strategy and generation plan
  • Continuously manage the roadmap and prioritize initiatives including innovations new development continuous development and cost efficiency activities
  • Continuous life-cycle management and optimization of the product services and solutions to reduce complexity and cost including definition of phase-out initiatives and modular platform market requirements

Evaluation definition governance & commercialization:

  • Evaluating new business opportunities to generate growth
  • Set market driven requirements for new products services and solutions (value/cost) and corresponding positioning value proposition and value based pricing
  • Developing and owning the business case for products services and solutions
  • Setting the product services and solution level specification (e.g. list price variants spare parts)
  • Vision priorities and direction to development to secure viable feasible and desirable outcomes
  • Commercial launch preparation and launch execution

In market management support and life-cycle management:

  • Marketing and support programs/activities to drive sales
  • Continuous maintenance and improvement of product services and solution marketing material
  • Phase-out of products solutions and services to reduce cost/complexity

Skill Requirements and Performance Criteria:

  • Master of Science degree in the field of Engineering or a similar field or corresponding work experience
  • 10 years of working experience and 5 years of experience in Product Management near activities including both HW SW and services
  • Background in project management and agile SW/HW development with 2 years experience
  • Excellent product management skills: capable of ensuring multiple products services and solutions stay on-track and are evolved to stay competitive.
  • Excellent understanding and execution of lean and agile principles.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills able to communicate effectively with executive management non-engineers and engineers.

Metrics and Expected Outcome:

  • Return on innovation and time to market including sustainable revenues
  • Right products services and solutions at right time with the right quality and cost
