As an Events Services Manager/Senior Events Services Manager serving Hilton Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:
Demonstrated previous managerial experience in a Catering & Events function in the hotel/leisure sector
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets
Have an excellent organisational and planning skills
Good communication interpersonal presentation and organisational skills
Accountable and resilient
Ability to work under pressure
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Good team player and able to manage by example
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
Previous experience in the same or similar role

Overview of Role
An Events Services Manager/Senior Events Services Manager is responsible for managing all Conference and Banquet operations to deliver an excellent experience.

What will I be doing
As an Events Services Manager/Senior Events Services Manager you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Liaise with guests to determine objectives and requirements for the events
To maximise conference and banqueting revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and price strategy
Ensure the highest standard of conference and banqueting business process
Ensure fairness in vendor selection such that non-contracted customers receive the sames rates/quotes regardless of the chosen booking channel used
Execute site inspections and monitor event activities to meet requirements of both guests and attendees
Responsible for the dissemination of groups related information to other departments eg. issues of banquet event order and group resume as well as pre-event meetings
Maintain close coordination with respective with respective departments on organisers requirement and last minute event requirement
Ensure complete administrations and execution of all planned events
Adhere to the protocols for Hilton EventReady with CleanStay and Hilton EventReady Hybrid Solutions programmes
Provide guidance training and support to Events Team
