Job Summary:
Our client a leading company in the agriculture sector is seeking a Deputy General Manager (DGM) to oversee overall operations and business activities. The DGM will ensure strategies align with the companys vision strengthen client relationships and drive operational excellence financial growth and competitiveness in the agriculture industry.
Main Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals; foster a strong organizational culture and effective leadership across teams.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations in agriculture production and export activities ensuring efficiency compliance and high-quality output.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets monitor financial performance and implement cost-control and revenue growth strategies.
- Sales & Marketing: Drive sales and marketing initiatives for agricultural products; maintain client supplier and partner relationships; explore new market opportunities.
- Human Resources: Support recruitment staff development and performance management; promote employee engagement and career development.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Agriculture Management or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of management experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles preferably in agriculture agribusiness or export.
- Strong knowledge of operations finance and business development within agriculture.
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills with a track record of driving organizational growth.
- Excellent communication negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
