Description

THE CHINESEMEDICINEHOSPITAL OF HONG KONG

The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) stands as a flagship Chinese medicine (CM) institution dedicated to advancing Chinese medicine in Hong Kong and is expected to commence operation in phases at the end of 2025.

Established through a public-private partnership the hospital is being constructed by the government with HKBU appointed as the contractor in June 2021 through a tendering process. Subsequently HKBU registered HKBU Chinese Medicine Hospital Company Limited as the operator in accordance with the requirements of the service deed which is responsible for the management operation and maintenance of CMHHK.

A hallmark of CMHHK is its integrated approach blending Chinese and Western medicine to provide professional patient care. CMHHK will actively engage in various interactions and collaborate with the industry to promote the development of Chinese medicine across Hong Kong the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and international institutions. By sharing resources and expertise CMHHK aims to advance the standardisation and globalisation of Chinese medicine opening new directions for future healthcare services.

Manager (Visitor Experience) ()

Responsibilities:

Report toHead of Domestic and Supporting Services and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Plan organise and conduct informative tours for donors government officials medical partners and community groups. Ensure tours are engaging safe and aligned with the hospitals mission and values;
  • Support and coordinate hospital events such as donor appreciation partnership visits etc. Represent the hospital at internal and external functions promoting positive relationships with stakeholders;
  • Oversee all aspects of VIP events including but not limited to invitation and hospitality of events post-event follow-up. Ensure VIPs receive experience that reflects hospitals standards and fosters long-term engagement;
  • Handle and follow up on feedback from VIPs guests and stakeholders promptly. Act as a liaison to facilitate visitor experience enhancements;
  • Analyse visitor event statistics to evaluate performance and identify areas for enhancing visitor experience; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree or above in Healthcare Administration Hospitality Business Communications or related field;
  • Minimum6 years experience in public relations management event management or customer service. Experience in non-profit sectorsor hospital setting is an advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Excellent command ofboth written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering high-profile events and managing VIP experience;
  • Strong organisational negotiation and project management skills with keen attention to details;
  • Proactive customer-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced hospital environment; and
  • Outgoing positive and motivated personality; able to work both independently and collaboratively.

This position may be required to work in evenings weekends and public holidays as required by event or service schedules.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract by Hong Kong Baptist University. Following the commencement of CMHHK and subject to the candidates satisfactory performance and the decision of CMHHK subsequent appointment will be offered directly by CMHHK.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Work location: Kowloon Tong Campus and will be moved tothe CMHHK in Tseung Kwan O when close to commissioning.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
