The Role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated passionate result driven person to join our Sales and Marketing team at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport.
Assisting the Sales & Marketing Department you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Team (and other departments as required e.g. Food & Beverage etc)
- Assisting the team in the production of reports proposals mail-outs and outgoing communication material
- Organising & maintaining a logical and up to date filing system
- Assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing and BDM with research analysis of results compilation of monthly Sales/Marketing reports
- Support the team with customer service and the telemarketing of new and existing clients when required
- Assist with local area marketing promotions including producing flyers posters menus newsletters and distributing flyers and EDMs
- Conducting market research to analyse data regarding consumer patterns and preferences
What are we looking for
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure and meet deadlines
- Highly competent at using MS Office and general computer skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear and concise communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task prioritise work and manage details for a variety of projects
- Organised and reliable team member
- Experience with Marketing software such as Adobe Publisher InDesign.
- Previous experience working within Sales & Marketing Events or a Hotel environment is desirable
