Primary Purpose of the Position:
Lead and conduct tire modeling and computer simulation to help teams design choices and predict tire performances to meet customers technical targets.
Responsibilities:
Develop new products tire following design standards according to priorities and performance objectives agreed on and using experimental as well as predictive approaches.
Learn understand and apply the Global Design standards best practices and Release Process.
Identify and Communicate any process and tool improvement items.
Ensure product conformity to internal external and legal standards.
Identify communicate and lead any guidelines/standards & best practices improvement items.
Coach others on guidelines/standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelors degree in engineering physics or any related fields is required (Masters degree in engineering physics or any related fields is desired)
Computer design and modeling experience (catia V5 abaqus solidworks) with finite element analysis (FEA) experience desired
Product Design Experience desired.
Knowledge in Statistical tools (minitab) basic programing (VBA) is an asset
MS Office (World Excel Power Point).
Ability to define and execute projects within a muti-cultural team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
