Snowmaker

Responsibilities:

• Set up snow-guns and hosing
• Responsible for all guns and hoses running in an area that is open to skier traffic. Must be marked with appropriate hazard poles or fencing
• Keep work areas clean & organized
• Operate snowmobiles & ATVs in a safe manner in accordance with Bristol Mountains expectations and training
• Fuel snowmobiles and ATVs at end of shift
• Check mechanical operation of snowmobiles and ATVs (brakes belts tires chassis etc.) and report needed maintenance to supervisor
• Inform supervisor of any necessary repairs to equipment
• Report any incidents property damage or injuries immediately to your supervisor and Human Resources
• Remove ice & snow from sidewalks and base area
• Shovel out lift tower pads and snowmaking hydrants
• Anticipate and avoid hazards

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills to work within a small team
• Safety conscious individual
• Must be able to lift push and pull in excess of 100 lbs.
• Must be able to balance and walk on slippery uneven surfaces
• Must be able to tolerate cold & wet weather

Hours:

• Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
• Must be able to work evenings weekends and holidays

Pay: Starting at $17.00/hr.
