Job Description
As a Principal Product Manager Tech in the Alexa Shopping org you will be at the forefront of the latest AI advancements redefining how Alexa can deliver even more delightful and helpful shopping experiences for millions of customers globally.
You will be responsible for driving transformative innovation in conversational shopping. Leveraging the power of AI and natural language understanding you will envision seamless new shopping experiences across multiple endpoints (e.g. Echo devices Alexa app Fire TV 3rd party devices etc.).
Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams you will raise the bar on product excellence. Your strategic vision and exceptional execution will guide the roadmap bringing new experiences to life. This is a highly visible strategic role where you will partner with senior leaders across the Alexa and Shopping businesses to drive meaningful impact.
The ideal candidate thrives on tackling ambiguity and complexity. You are a big-picture thinker with a relentless focus on customer obsession. Your ability to translate data-driven insights into innovative solutions is second to none. Importantly you will serve as a mentor and sponsor for other product managers helping the broader team tackle highly complex problems and accelerate the development of magical customer experiences.

- 8 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
