Overview
Sign-On Bonus: $5000 for full-time offers
Part-Time Days 24 hrs/week 7am-7:30pm every third weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities
- As delegated by the nurse the CMA assesses patients status through interview observation and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes
- Assists the nurse in the development of an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team.
- Implements appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes
- Systematically evaluates and documents patients progress toward expected outcomes/goals on an ongoing basis throughout the shift as directed by the nurse
- Performs select clinical duties including but not beyond:
- Taking vital signs
- Oral IM and SUBQ medication administration
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Assisting in the completion of patient admissions and discharge work
- Enemas
- Vaccine administration
- Chart review
- Patient education
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants OR
- Graduate of a registered apprenticeship program with two years of clincial experience OR
- Graduate of an online program or on the job training with three years of clinical experience
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
