The opportunity
This team offers variety challenge responsibility and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. Our Technology Strategy and Transformation team is focused on helping clients throughout their technology enablement and transformation journeys to improve their operational efficiency while reducing costs and managing risk.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant you will be part of a larger Technology Transformation engagement team serving one client at a time. You will participate in large scale technology enablement and transformation projects that could entail:
- Project / Program Management (agile / waterfall) services providing planning execution management governance and reporting support
- Business Analysis
- Testing support
- Requirements definition vendor selection and evaluation support
- Process development / review
- Digital and Technology strategy
The consultant shall be required to:
- Consistently deliver quality client services driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget
- .Monitor progress manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- facilitate meetings to connect stakeholders and reduce project delivery risks
- manage expectations of client service delivery.
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business.
The consultant should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and should be comfortable interfacing with a client daily. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent written and verbal communication presentation client service and technical writing skills coupled with excellent executive presence.
- Significant experience in managing and delivering medium to large teams on complex programs and projects.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelors or masters degree in computer science engineering or a related field;
- Approximately 3-5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and related work experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Involvement in business development efforts. Experience with the end-to-end RFP process (RFP Response Proposal Client Presentation SOW and Execution) and understanding of client procurement processes. Experience in proposal-writing and presenting during RFP process
- Strong communication skills especially around breaking down complex structures into digestible and relevant points for a diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to formulate and articulate questions to facilitate a quick understanding of a clients business
- Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and willingness to learn how to configure them
- Strong intellectual abilities and rigor balanced with practical sense of what works and what does not
- Strive to lead themselves their teams and their communities and who can foster effective teamwork to drive results
Ideally youll also have
- A high level of motivation strong work ethic and self-starting attitude.
