Job Summary
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Sewage Treatment Room Technician to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. In this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewage treatment facilities to ensure proper wastewater management and environmental compliance.
- Operate and monitor sewage treatment equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct regular water quality tests and analyze results to maintain compliance with environmental standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sewage treatment machinery and equipment
- Executing all new works issued by the Chief Engineer and the Asst. Chief Engineer.
- All maintenance of the sewage treatment machines will be your responsibility.
- Cleaning the sewage treatment plant tanks from all floating materials and debris daily.
- Maintain accurate records of operations test results and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sewage treatment processes
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve treatment efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay updated on local and international environmental regulations related to sewage treatment
Qualifications :
- Minimum 12 years of experience in sewage treatment or related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of sewage treatment processes and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in sewage treatment facilities
- Physical ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required
