A Michelin Guide listed restaurant in Sussex is seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and ambitious chef to focus exclusively on pastry within a respected kitchen while still enjoying the collaboration support and direction of a strong Head Chef and brigade.
Take ownership of the pastry section at Chef de Partie level
Prepare and deliver high-quality desserts pastry items and afternoon offerings
Work to established recipes and standards while contributing ideas in a collaborative environment
Maintain prep levels and keep the section running smoothly during service
Ensure food safety hygiene and kitchen organisation are upheld at all times
Support the Head Chef and wider team as required
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie with strong pastry skills
Creativity and flair balanced with precision and consistency
Passion for fresh seasonal ingredients and modern presentation
Ability to follow recipes and direction from the Head Chef while adding your own input
Calm reliable and able to perform under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude
Salary DOE
Tronc tips shared across the team typically per year
40 50 hours per week structured rotas
28 days holiday per year
Staff meals on shift
