Job Description

The Area Business Head Credit Life will be responsible for driving business performance and growth for Credit Life insurance products across a designated geographic area. The role involves managing key partner relationships (especially with banks NBFCs MFIs) leading a team of sales professionals ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Drive Credit Life insurance product sales through partner institutions like banks NBFCs and MFIs.

    • Achieve area-level business targets (revenue persistency partner engagement).

    • Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Partner Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions at the area and branch level.

    • Conduct regular partner meetings joint field calls and business reviews.

    • Train and motivate partner staff on Credit Life products and processes.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead coach and manage a team of Territory Managers / Sales Officers.

    • Monitor team performance provide regular feedback and ensure productivity.

    • Facilitate onboarding training and performance management of team members.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure timely and error-free issuance of policies.

    • Maintain MIS track performance metrics and report regularly to higher management.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory compliance.

  • Customer Service & Retention:

    • Handle escalations and ensure high service standards.

    • Work on improving persistency and customer satisfaction.
