Description
An established company is seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse and Assistant Logistics and Operations Manager to join their team in Clayville GP. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in procurement supply chain management and warehouse operations within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee purchasing procurement and vendor management.
- Process purchase orders track deliveries and maintain accurate records.
- Optimize supply chain and warehouse operations for efficiency and cost savings.
- Manage inventory control for raw materials consumables and glass bottles.
- Conduct regular stock audits reconcile discrepancies and generate reports.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with production sales and finance teams to align supply and demand.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse management logistics or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience in purchasing procurement and vendor management.
- Experience managing inventory for raw materials consumables and glass products.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Ability to conduct stock audits reconcile discrepancies and generate detailed reports.
- Excellent organizational planning and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
