Right in the heart of Oslo youll find Clarion Hotel The Hub Norways and Oslos largest and most comprehensive hotel. With the best location in the center of Oslo and as the closest neighbor to Norways largest hub Oslo Central Station Clarion Hotel The Hub is the perfect starting point and hotel for Oslo experiences. Clarion Hotel The Hub is a spectacular hotel that gives you exciting food with local roots venues to inspire challenge create and share. With close proximity to the citys best bars concerts and restaurants you do more than just sleep.
Clarion Hotel The Hub has 810 rooms and can therefore serve several thousand people for breakfast and lunch in our beautiful restaurant on the 2nd floor. The hotel has the opportunity to arrange congresses on a scale that has previously not been possible in the center of addition we have 28 meeting rooms where both lunch and snacks are served.
Whats the job
As Banquet Supervisor you are responsible for the daily leadership and distribution of work within the department. Your main responsibility is:
- Lead daily operations in banquets.
- Responsible for planning and executing events including setup serving and clearing.
- Ensure good communication and collaboration with the kitchen to coordinate food deliveries.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure high guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to increased sales of food and beverages.
- Ensure hygiene standards and safety regulations are complied with.
- Assist manager with optimal staffing and scheduling.
- Training and follow-up of employees in cooperation with the manager.
- Develop and quality assure routines for daily operations.
The position is full-time and involves working on both weekdays and weekends. The role reports to the Restaurant & Banquet Manager.
Who are we looking for
Were looking for a hands-on passionate and solution-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be detail-oriented structured responsible and able to juggle multiple tasks. You are ready to tackle the responsibilities that come with working at Norways largest hotel. You care about delivering high quality in everything you do. Strong communication skills in Norwegian and/or English are essential.
