What Youll Do
- Deliver tailored Algebra II instruction to high school students in Bergen County
- Reinforce classroom learning and bridge knowledge gaps with targeted lessons
- Adapt your teaching style to fit the unique learning needs of each student
- Collaborate with families to track progress and set goals
- Assign meaningful practice work to strengthen comprehension and boost confidence
What Were Looking For
Were seeking educators who are:
- Certified teachers or in the process of certification
- Experienced in teaching Algebra II or high school mathematics
- Excellent communicators with students and parents
- Reliable professional and passionate about helping students thrive
- Flexible and able to work in-person in Bergen County
Qualifications
To apply you must have a bachelors degree and meet at least one of the following:
- Hold a valid teaching certificate (NJ or NY preferred)
- Be currently enrolled in a teacher certification program
- Have 2 years of classroom teaching experience (private charter or public school)
- Have experience teaching or assisting in a university-level course in mathematics
