Position Overview

is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at our key test range near Lake Superior. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day activities ensure safe and efficient test operations build and manage a high-performing team and serve as the primary point of contact for partners customers and stakeholders. This role is critical to ensuring test range delivers operational excellence innovation and mission impact.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of the Lake Superior test range
  • Oversee test planning execution safety and reporting for autonomous system trials
  • Develop and manage range budgets resources and schedules to meet program goals
  • Recruit mentor and manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers operators and support staff
  • Build strong relationships with defense commercial and research partners to ensure successful range utilization
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and security requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in operations efficiency and technical capabilities of the test range
  • Represent mission and values in all internal and external engagements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven track record as a senior executive (e.g. General Manager VP Senior Director) preferably at a fast growing company with preference in the defense aerospace technology or a related industry
  • A history of driving business growth and the ability to manage schedules and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to safety mission success and operational excellence
  • Prefer candidates to be located in Minnesota or a nearby state; role will require travel
