About the team and the role:
As a Staff Product Designer for the C2C design team youll be a part of eBays core design team. You will help shape the future of eBays customer experience for C2C sellers worldwide as they onboard list transact and fulfill orders globally on eBays marketplace. We will rely on you to build important collaborative relationships with our product and engineering partners coaching and leading cross-functional teams and product designers on design thinking product discovery creating innovative and intuitive solutions for our customers design craft and execution at scale.
Youll be working on a team that values user research rapid iterations and close collaborations with other designers product managers & developers. This role will play a critical part on the team responsible for connecting the dots across buyer and seller experiences to ensure were building scalable transparent and efficient experiences.
What you will accomplish:
Create outstanding user-centered designs incorporating business requirements product findings and customer feedback
Design end-to-end experiences for how key information such as pricing appears across the buyer and seller experience
Develop conceptual diagrams wireframes visual mockups and prototypes
Collaborate with partner teams to co-create scalable experiences that balance user needs with business objectives
Understand both seller and buyer experiences to create holistic end-to-end solutions
Leverage eBays existing design system into your solutions while also being able to thoughtfully contribute new additions to it
Communicate design work and drive future direction with peers researchers design leaders product partners and executives through strong verbal written and visual presentation skills
What you will bring:
8 years of experience in product design or UX
Strong understanding of the user-centered design process
Experience partnering with Content Design to effectively leverage copy to help craft a compelling experience for users
Experience in Design Research including competitive analysis qualitative interviews leveraging quantitative metrics to drive decisions and crafting insights from observation
Specialist in prototyping and designing in Figma for multiple devices including mobile tablet and desktop
Experience working with buyer/seller marketplaces
