Job Summary
The School Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the schools outdoor areas to ensure a clean safe and attractive environment for students staff and visitors. This role involves landscaping lawn care minor outdoor repairs seasonal maintenance and ensuring all grounds-related facilities are functional and Duties and Responsibilities:Perform routine lawn care including mowing edging weeding watering and trees shrubs and flower beds by pruning trimming and planting as walkways parking lots and entrances of debris snow and ice using appropriate tools and and maintain playgrounds outdoor seating areas fences and athletic and perform basic maintenance on landscaping equipment (e.g. mowers trimmers blowers).Dispose of yard waste and manage composting or recycling minor outdoor repairs such as patching walkways or replacing safety hazards needed repairs or suspicious activity to appropriate with setup and cleanup of outdoor school events and all safety guidelines and school duties as assigned.
