SALARY: 50211 - 61895 per annum (the salary offered will be based on experience & knowledge)
ROLE TYPE: Hybrid
LOCATION: Manchester with the expectation to travel across the Northern network for site visits as and when required.

Were delivering some of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the region working on essential schemes to upgrade our TrainCare Centres Outstations and station platforms which are pivotal to keep our railway moving. As a Project Manager youll be at the heart of making these improvements happen working with Network Rail and key partners to turn plans into reality.

What youll be doing:

  • Lead and deliver infrastructure enhancement projects (e.g. depot improvements engineering facilities platform extensions).
  • Act as the key contact for stakeholders building strong relationships with Network Rail and internal teams.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning through to delivery governance risks and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and with minimal impact to daily operations.
  • Drive collaboration transparency and continuous improvement within the Infrastructure Change Team.

About you:

  • Proven Project Management experience ideally with a qualification (APM PRINCE2 or similar).
  • Experience delivering complex projects in a regulated or infrastructure environment (rail preferred).
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills with the ability to influence effectively.
  • Knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental legislation and CDM regulations.
  • ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or significant practical project management experience.
  • Ability to identify evaluate and manage risks that may impact project timelines budget or quality
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address project challenges
