As a Senior Software Engineer you will engineer and develop versatile products and services for the energy industry.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business.
• Performing research and development to generate/maintain robust engineering applications.
• Designing/developing engineering/science/math models UIs and user workflows.
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas.
• Maintaining interfaces with team stakeholders and customers as required.
• Working independently and contributing to the immediate team and to other teams across the business.
• Performing research and development to generate/maintain robust engineering applications.
• Designing/developing engineering/science/math models UIs and user workflows.
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas.
• Maintaining interfaces with team stakeholders and customers as required.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelors Degree with minimum 7-11 years experience in software engineering.
• Have programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred).
• Have experience with Visual C/C on Windows platform
• Preferred to have experience in using source control systems such as TFS Subversion Git.
• Preferred to have experience in using software build systems such as TFS TeamCity.
• Advanced Engineering degree (Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical). PhD preferred.
• Proven problem solving math logic and analytical abilities.
• Have proven ability to research/develop algorithms and models for physical phenomena relevant to oil/gas operations such as completions wellbore intervention well construction.
• Have experience in fluid mechanics fluid/particle dynamics wellbore hydraulics and reservoir injection/stimulation modeling.
• Experience with matrix acidizing modeling is a strong plus.
• Ten years programming experience with ownership of significant engineering applications (Windows preferred).
• 6 years product development experience with Visual C/C on Windows platform.
• Experience with independent work on complex projects with attention to detail.
• Good language and communication skills.
• Experience in user interface design and development.
• Preferred to have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5 programming and related frameworks.
