Are you highly organized and detail-oriented We are looking for a Accountant to join our Finance this role you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks while also ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting tasks including invoice processing recording bank transactions and updating financial records in the accounting system
- Post general ledger entries and process travel expense reports in compliance with internal policies
- Support monthly financial reporting and assist with account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly VAT returns and Intrastat reports
- Oversee and manage the entire order processing workflow ensuring all orders are handled efficiently and in line with company policies and deadlines
- Collaborate with various teams across the Central Europe region to support shared processes and ensure alignment
Requirements:
- Certified Accountant qualification or an equivalent degree
- Proven experience in accounting and financial operations
- Solid knowledge of Hungarian accounting and taxation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in Hungarian and a good command of English; knowledge of Slovak or Czech is an advantage
