Job Description

• Perform risk assessment of applicants for life and health insurance within stipulated SLA
• Make decisions within the given authority that are consistent with underwriting standards and compatible with market trends
• Process end-to-end new business transactions in the system
• Provide support to Financial Consultants on matters relating to underwriting and able to communicate and explain underwriting decisions/rationale clearly
• Face-to-face service interaction with the sales team at PruBusiness Centres on New Business matter
• Be involved in ad-hoc projects when required

• Good understanding of insurance products

• Confident in problem solving and decision making

Working Experience

• 2 to 5 years of underwriting experience in life & health insurance

Education

• Degree in Nursing or Biomedical Science/Engineering

Professional Qualifications

• Professional Qualifications is an advantage: ACII ANZIIF ALU or LOMA

Language

• Strong command of the English language
