Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining automation workflows integrations and platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in scripting DevOps tools cloud environments and enterprise-grade automation frameworks to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain automation workflows across multiple platforms and systems.
- Develop integration solutions using APIs webhooks and third-party connectors.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support deployment automation.
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform Ansible or equivalent.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
- Ensure solutions follow security compliance and best practices.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize automation processes for performance and scalability.
- Document processes solutions and architectural designs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 6 years of experience in automation engineering DevOps or platform integration roles.
- Strong scripting skills: Python PowerShell or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps).
- Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker Kubernetes AKS EKS or GKE).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform Ansible or equivalent).
- Knowledge of monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK etc.).
- Exposure to API integrations (REST SOAP GraphQL).
- Strong problem-solving debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow Jira or ITSM platform automation.
- Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism).
- Experience with SonarQube integration in pipelines.
- Familiarity with security automation (DevSecOps).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and logical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments.
