Job Description

Speech Pathology Australia is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative support and coordination across our Advancement business unit. This role plays a key part in enabling our teams to deliver on their operational and strategic goals.

In this position you will:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support including scheduling meetings maintaining records and registers and supporting budget and invoicing processes.
  • Coordinate agendas take minutes and follow up on actions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with preparing professional documents reports presentations and member resources with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Branch Chairs journal editors and presenters to support communication and event delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems templates and processes to streamline team operations.

Essential Criteria

  • To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in administrative support roles.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare professional correspondence tailored to different audiences.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy particularly in document editing and formatting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online meeting platforms.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong stakeholder liaison and customer service skills.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting professional membership Organisation or not-for-profits.
  • Familiarity with coordinating events and budgets.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and learning management systems (LMS).
