Job Summary
MGB Emergency Medicine serves nearly 500000 patients annually primarily through its 10 emergency department locations and manages a diverse and complex portfolio of sponsored and non-sponsored research programs training programs and a variety of services and initiatives that support all mission areas of MGB EM. The Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the team collaborating with financial leadership to submit and track expenses help prepare monthly financials and track clinical commitments.Qualifications

Experience
Experience in accounting or finance 2-3 years required Experience in a role within a large healthcare organization 2-3 years preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Intermediate Excel is required (pivot tables and V lookups).
- Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to analyze consolidate and interpret accounting data.
