Job Description Summary:


The Clinical Practice Manager oversees day-to-day clinical and business operations ensuring the provision of patient safety and quality and practices professional nursing in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. The Clinical Practice Manager provides overall leadership growth marketing administration and performance of all aspects of Community Practice activities to ensure accomplishment of its objectives.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Assists patients to move rapidly uneventfully safely and as effectively as possible through their episode of care.
  • Assesses delegates supervises and provides patient care plans for education collaborates on plan for discharge and provides for patient safety and quality.
  • Demonstrates clinical competency providing age-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years and select adult patients.
  • Supervises clinical operations planning evaluating and controlling program services and ensures that internal and external standards are met. May be assigned to one (1) or more Community Practices which may include multiple locations.
  • Recruits hires terminates and trains both clinical and registration personnel as required to assure efficient and effective office workflow according to office policy.
  • Oversees the business and financial affairs of the Community Practice and fiscal management including accounting budgeting internal controls and timely reporting.


Education Requirement:

  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. If ADN must successfully complete BSN within 5 years of start date.


Licensure Requirement:

  • LPN or RN license required.
  • Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
