We are looking for an experienced and motivated technologist who possess a deep understanding of the Energy Industry a business mindset technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build the future with us as a Solutions Architect supporting one or some of the largest Energy companies in the world. You will work with customer line of business owners to solve their biggest business problems and help them attain new levels of performance. You will leverage AWS leading cloud services to craft highly scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate the customer cloud journey. These solutions always have the customer and their experience at the center of everything we do.
In partnership with Global Account Managers you will shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and enable the broad use of AWS within the organization. You exercise good judgement in balancing short-term value with longer-term supportability and are keenly aware of how technological changes might impact your solutions.
You will adeptly interact communicate and partner with other teams at AWS such as product marketing and professional services and represent your team to executive management. You possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business products and technical challenges. Your dynamism creativity and passion for excellence will make a positive impact with your customer.
Travel up to 25% could be included and will be discussed at the interview stage. This is a Generative AI focused role in which you are expected to learn about AWS AI technologies and drive customer adoption with AWS technologies to solve complex business challenges.

- 8 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and applicability in real world applications is a must.
- 5 years of infrastructure architecture database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite S/4HANA SAP Business Warehouse SAP HANA SAP Business Objects etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
