DevOps Engineer (Ansible)

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a DevOps Engineer (Ansible) supporting a DoD Customers Classified Network Services. The mission will include Operations Compliance Cyber Security Customer Service and Engineering. The right DevOps Engineer (Ansible) candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

• Designs and implements cloud infrastructure using Terraform and HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL).
• Automates provisioning scaling and management of infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborates with development and operations teams to support cloud initiatives and streamline deployment processes.
• Monitors cloud environments performs regular maintenance and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
• Implements and enforces best practices for cloud security compliance and risk management.
• Conducts ongoing security testing and codes reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Contributes to architectural designs technical documentation and provides engineering solutions for improved security.
• Stays current with new tools technologies and industry best practices and advises teams on secure coding practices.
• Integrates Terraform with Ansible to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure ensuring a seamless and consistent infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployment process across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Uses Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure resources (e.g. compute storage networking) and leverages Ansible for post-provisioning configuration management including application deployments and security hardening.
• Collaborates with engineering teams to design end-to-end automation workflows that combine Terraforms infrastructure provisioning with Ansibles configuration management ensuring scalable repeatable and secure deployments.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI.

Degree and Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

Required Certifications:

• Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification.

Required Skills:

• Experience in software engineering and integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf software products.
