Job Description

The Role: The paraprofessional will provide transportation support for a student with a disability by ensuring their safety and well-being during the daily bus commute. Responsibilities include driving to the students home in the morning assisting the student safely onto the school bus riding the bus with the student to school and repeating this process in the afternoon by riding the bus to the students home and assisting them off the bus. This position requires reliability punctuality and the ability to support a student with sensitivity and Responsibilities:

Drive to the students home each morning and afternoon.
Assist student with safely boarding and exiting the bus.
Ride the school bus with the student to and from school.
Ensure the students safety during transportation.
Communicate as needed with school staff and transportation personnel.
Follow all safety protocols and district procedures.

Qualifications:

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgement.
