Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Claim Manager to join a this role you will manage complex professional liability claims involving architects engineers and surveyors.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $115000 - $160000 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage professional liability claims involving design professionals ensuring fair timely and cost-effective resolutions.
- Conduct detailed investigations and issue appropriate coverage letters and documentation.
- Analyze and address coverage issues including contractual indemnity and additional insured matters.
- Maintain accurate reserves and pursue risk transfer opportunities.
- Handle claims in alignment with best practices and company standards.
- Attend mediations and settlement conferences as necessary.
- Collaborate with underwriters insureds and upper management to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in business administration insurance or a related field OR Juris Doctorate with relevant insurance defense litigation experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in legal or insurance-related roles with meaningful experience handling design professional claims under professional liability policies.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of case law statutes and procedures impacting claims handling.
- Proficiency in proactive investigation risk transfer and claims resolution.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Competencies: Strategic thinking problem-solving and the ability to manage a balanced caseload effectively.
