Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This role is pivotal in assisting HR strategy with business objectives fostering a high-performance culture and driving talent initiatives that support growth and operational excellence within assigned client groups.

As a trusted advisor to leadership you will provide strategic HR guidance champion people-focused initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness to our Commercial Lines business. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with an understanding of HR consulting workforce trends and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning talent development and organizational design.
  • Analyze industry trends employee data and business performance metrics to drive informed HR decision-making.
  • Assist in initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness including the delivery of organizational design consultation during business planning and/or when solving business issues. Create communication and support change management plans for defined programs considering the organizations current state and readiness for change. Effectively leverages and in some cases creates Organizational Effectiveness Talent Management Practices Learning & Development and Diversity and Inclusion frameworks processes and tools.

Employee Relations

  • Coach leaders in all areas of performance management to drive accountability and improve business outcomes
  • Lead employee investigations in a fair ethical and compliant manner.
  • Collaborate with Legal dept as needed

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

  • Lead succession planning and talent pipeline initiatives to ensure a strong leadership bench within assigned client groups.
  • Oversee performance management programs providing coaching and guidance to leadership teams.
  • Partner with leaders to manage headcount budget
  • Execute initiatives to attract develop and retain top talent within the brokerage sector.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive a high-performance culture by implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement diversity and inclusion.
  • Participate in change management efforts to support business transformation and employee adoption of new policies and procedures.
  • Act as a champion for company values and foster a positive workplace culture.

Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance operations and compliance to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Create strong relationships with HR COE and HR OPs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 8 years of progressive HR experience including at least 5 years in a strategic HRBP role.
  • Experience in an HR model with shared service center and center of excellence.
  • Knowledge of the brokerage financial services or insurance industries is a plus.
  • Experience in talent management workforce planning and culture initiatives.
  • Experience with performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The expected pay range for this position is $130000 annually to $160000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and work location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
