Baker Hughes is seeking experienced and passionate Rotating Equipment Instructors to join our world-class Training this role you will deliver high-impact hands-on training programs focused on the installation and maintenance operations of complex turbomachinery systems including Gas Turbines Steam Turbines Reciprocating Compressors and Centrifugal Compressors.
As the Rotating Equipment Instructor you will be responsible for:
- Lead practical training sessions on the installation alignment and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Guide trainees through realistic hands-on scenarios using actual machinery and simulation tools.
- Demonstrate and supervise disassembly inspection troubleshooting and reassembly of turbomachinery components.
- Ensure safety protocols and industry best practices are followed during all training activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to keep training content aligned with the latest technologies and field procedures.
- Using Virtual and 3D environments as Training aids during the lessons.
- Keeping appropriate documentation & records including the update of course material and completion of student performance evaluations.
- Ensuring content and material of courses are aligned with to the IET GTS Quality procedures.
- Work closely with TA Team to innovate and evolve the Training Academy Portfolio.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to support skill development.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Masters Degree in Mechanics Fluid dynamics Electronics or Software programming.
- Have significant experience in a Technical Instructor role.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills experience with adult learning concepts.
- Be verbally fluent in English.
- Be Proactive and passionate about Rotating Equipments and Training delivery.
- Have good knowledge of Energy and/or Petroleum Market/Applications & IET GTS product portfolio.
- Have excellent PC skills (Word PowerPoint Excel & Access).
- Have a valid passport and drivers license and be willing to travel globally (30%).
