German speaking Golang Developer (Freelance)
This is a rare opportunity to join a project at the cutting edge of technology contributing to the build of an innovative way of using VMs that has the potential to redefine the space.
The client is a top consultancy specialising in Google Workspace applications with massive growth in Germany over the last three years. Their teams are dynamic highly technical and truly agile. While headquartered in Europe theyre becoming increasingly global with a very flexible remote work setup.
Start date:ASAP
Duration:12 months (extensions expected)
Location:Remote (must be Europe based) On-site approx. 2 days per quarter.
Workload:Ideally full-time (100%) part-time (50%) can be considered
What you can expect
- YOU develop a virtualisation service for a distributed cloud platform (comparable to OpenShift Virtualization).
- YOU design and implement Kubernetes operators with Golang.
- YOU build and cluster microservices with Golang ensuring performance and scalability.
- YOU collaborate with a highly technical team in a fast-moving agile environment.
- YOU contribute to a truly cutting-edge project with global impact potential.
What you offer
- You speak fluent German and business fluent English
- YOU bring deep programming experience in Golang especially for web services and microservices.
- YOU have strong expertise in KubeVirt (libVirt & KVM).
- YOU have proven experience in writing Kubernetes operators with Golang.
- YOU are experienced independent and confident in working on highly technical challenges.
- YOU are based in Europe
