Overview
Ansible Government Solutions LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Dental Assistants to support the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center located at 1826 Veterans Blvd Dublin GA 31021. The schedule is typically Tuesday-Friday 8am-4:30pm including some Saturdays 8am-12pm. If you accept employment with Ansible you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures (restorative prosthodontic surgical).
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.
- Retract tissue suction and pass instruments during procedures.
- Take digital radiographs.
- Follow infection control standards and VA safety/privacy regulations.
- Treat patients visitors and staff with courtesy and professionalism.
- Work under the supervision of the Dental Chief or designee.
- Maintain dental chairs and water lines.
- Perform dental lab tasks (e.g. pouring/trimming models cleaning lab and storage areas).
- Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
- Document care in VA electronic health records.
- Report patient safety incidents within 24 hours.
Qualifications
- There is no mandatory license for dental assistant; DANB certification is acceptable but not required.
- Experience with digital radiography and chair-side assistance
- Current AHA BLS
- Valid TB test
- Ability to successfully undergo a Government-sponsored background investigation (US Citizenship required)
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit stand walk lift squat bend twist and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
