Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum Interventional Radiologist in Wooster OH
Join a leading healthcare facility located in the heart of Wooster Ohio. This practice specializes in Interventional Radiology and is renowned for delivering high-quality medical care in a supportive environment. Located at Wooster Community Hospital the facility prioritizes patient care and offers a range of modalities including XR MR NM CT US and Fluoroscopy. With a daily volume expectation of 90-100 cases this role promises a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform light interventional radiology procedures including biopsies (thyroid lung bone liver renal).
- Conduct drainages such as paracentesis thoracentesis abscess drainages and chest tubes.
- Execute diagnostic lumbar punctures and myelogram procedures.
- Administer joint injections (arthrograms) for various joints including knee hip shoulder elbow and ankle.
- Manage patient care effectively in a fast-paced environment with expectations of high-volume work.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology - REQUIRED
- Active Ohio Medical License - REQUIRED
- Current DEA Registration - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology.
- Active Medical License in Ohio.
- DEA Registration.
- Clean malpractice record.
