You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Research and Development at the Division of Emergencies and Critical Care Oslo University Hospital in collaboration with Leknes Affective Brain lab () and the NorOp research team () offers a unique interdisciplinary project with both clinical and basic science elements. The position (as either PhD candidate or postdoc) is open to candidates with a background in medicine psychology neuroscience or nursing and experience with relevant research.
The candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary and ambitious research environment that prioritises scientific development collaboration and support throughout the project period.
The candidate would be responsible for conducting a research project on testing the efficacy of a combined mu- and kappa-opioid agonist (pentazocine) in a population with genetic insensitivity to mu-opioid drug (randomized controlled trial (RCT)) in close collaboration with several colleagues in the research group.

The position is a temporary position as a PhD candidate or postdoc of 3 years duration at 100% position alternatively 6 years at 50% if needed.
