Responsibilities
As a PACU Charge Nurse at CRMC you will provide oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff directing patient flow assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates patient flow on the unit to facilitate the provision of timely and effective care.
- Mentors others in areas such as competency documentation equipment use plan of care National Patient Safety Goals and participation in inservice education.
- Provides direct patient care as appropriate to meet the needs of the patients and department.
- Evaluates care given by staff.
- Coaches to improve care.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- ADN Diploma or foreign equivalent
- Current AZ State RN license in good standing
- Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- American Heart Association PALS obtained within six months of hire
Preferred:
- Two (2) years RN experience within applicable clinical specialty and/or charge nurse experience
- BSN
