Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior to join our team. As a Senior you will play a crucial role in the food industry ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and dietary department
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Plan and prepare menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food handling preparation and cooking techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding food quality or service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a senior role within the food industry preferably in a culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in menu planning and recipe development
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to handle knives and other culinary tools safely
