Things youll do in this role:
Lead on policy efforts at Isometric across the Americas (with a particular focus on USA Canada and Brazil.)
Read detailed policy documents (regulations consultations etc) and use that deep understanding to develop our policy objectives.
Drive forward Isometrics engagement with the Government NGOs and industry to achieve those policy objectives.
Support Isometrics commercial aims by engaging with priority buyers and suppliers on policy topics.
Apply for and help maintain approvals from relevant accreditation bodies and regulators.
Things were looking for:
Experience as a policymaker in government or directly influencing government policy from the outside.
Proven ability both to go deep on policy detail as well as influencing government officials through advocacy.
Ideally: background in climate policy. If not then at a minimum policy background in an adjacent area (e.g. environmental protection trade policy financial regulation).
This role isnt for you if:
You want a fully remote job. We value in-person collaboration and spend regular time together in the office.
